Getting things to happen how they should, when they should, and within budget, is both a science and an art. On this programme, you’ll learn exactly how it’s done. Lasting between two to four years depending on local business needs, and working to the Association for Project Management framework, you’ll experience placements on real projects and work to formal project management Chartership. What you'll be doing:

Expect to work on every kind of project – from design and manufacture to in-service support and capability enhancement projects. Whatever the task at hand, risks need to be identified and managed, stakeholder requirements satisfied, and the whole thing delivered on time and to budget.

Along the way, you’ll develop strong relationships with colleagues in commercial, financial and procurement functions over the course of the programme. That’s because watching our finances is as important as watching the clock when delivering a project. With that professional network behind you, you’ll have everything you need to tackle anything that comes your way.

And, as our programme is based on the Association for Project Management (APM) Body of Knowledge, you’ll get experience in all the key elements of the APM Competence Framework. Over three years, you’ll get to grips with the complexities of company-based accounting and financial management. What’s more, we’ll cover the costs and support you along the way to get your prestigious CIMA Chartered Management Accountant qualification.

Places on our Accountancy and Finance graduate programme for Autumn 2018 are available in our sectors across the UK. But no matter which team you join, you could be based anywhere in the UK. That’s why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll gain the broadest exposure to company-based accounting and financial management. This will span both management accounting (with both overhead and project experience) and business tax accounting. You’ll work on projects across many different sectors, which will give you the kind of experiences and insights that are very hard to come by.

Every step of the way you’ll be mentored, and we’ll support you to gain Associate of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA) status, offered by CIMA. You’ll learn either through a tuition provider or via distance learning (we use BPP and Kaplan).

What you'll get out of it:

Most crucially, you’ll earn Chartered Management Accountant status. We’ll pay for you to get your qualification with CIMA, and assign you a mentor to help you get there – with a competitive starting salary of £29k.* In return, we expect you to attain Chartership.
